1960s Montgomery Ward Pleated Selvedge Denim Jacket Size M/L
in 1872 Aaron Montgomery Ward founded one of the largest retail and mail order businesses in America. As a department store they carried their own line of western, work and sports wear. This particular jacket is a rare cowboy jacket similar to the Wrangler 124MJ design, made in a beautiful lightweight selvedge denim.
- Two buttoned chest pockets and two lower tool pockets
- Pleated front
- Selvedge detail inside front placket
- Front opening and cuffs has original stud buttons
- Pencil slot in chest pocket
- Chainstitch construction
- Bar tacks at stress points
- Original neck label piece is still present
- That perfectly and authentic worn look and feel
- Short and boxy fit
- Condition: Taken it's age in account, this jacket is in extremely good condition. The collar has been worn thru, but not torn. A small mark on back and on sleeve. Some wear to the cuffs. Some loose stitching as expected.
- Size: No label with size. The best fit for this jacket would be a mens modern M or a short L in our opinion. Please see measurements below before purchase:
- Pit to pit: 22.5”
- Shoulders: 19,5”
- Sleeve from shoulder: 23.5”
- Length front from top button: 19”
- Length back from neckline: 22.5”
