3rd Pattern Class II Ripstop Cotton version of the classic ’Slant Pocket’ Tropical Combat Jacket
Made in USA in 1970 by Elder Mfg. Co.
ERDL Camo (also known as Leaf camo). Mostly issued to elite troops post-1967 like the LRRP’s, SOG, The Rangers Navy SEALS etc. and later took over the OG-107 garments that were used in Vietnam
Very popular and versatile military garment
Four cargo pockets with buttons and drainage holes
One pencil slot on left chest pocket
Stunning patches and insignia on left shoulder, chest and collar, including Airborne and Captain rank patch
Original buttons
Adjusters on cuffs
Original labels present
Condition: Has a very dark front side of jacket and a faded top of back. Quite unique and cool look. Could possibly be the Highland Brown variant of the ERDL camouflage, but the back is almost as light as the most known Lowland version. Tiny tears in the ripstop on right arm and a small spot on back. Otherwise great vintage condition.
Size: Labeled as a S-Regular, but fits a modern size mens M or perhaps a slim L in our opinion. Please see measurements below before purchase:
